My first mentor and instructor began me with charcoal and graphite, then processed me through oil pencil before sharing the beauty of watercolor. I found watercolor to be enchanting and the ability to create a dreamy landscape or define the feathers of a raptor drew me and still draws me back time and again. This is my comfortable medium, although I love dabbling in others.
