This impressive sgraffito bowl was created in cream stoneware on the wheel, underglazed, carved and then fired to bisque temperature. The interior was then clear glazed and the exterior is glazed with a sparkling black and silver finish. The design was freehand drawn and the carving process of the fish and decorative texture took hours to complete. 

This is a one of a kind piece and would be a beautiful piece to add to your art pottery collection.

While the interior finish is food safe, it is not recommended that this piece be placed in a dishwasher. No microwave and hand wash please.

This riser is beautiful in its simplicity. Created from speckled Stoneware, this wheel thrown riser is stamped with an 0riginal daisy design created by this artist.  Truly one of a kind and can be used to display small cakes, pie or a selection of cheese/charcuterie.

This vessel is beautiful and functional.  Wheel thrown from stoneware, the vessel was augmented to purposely add asymmetrical handles to receive the final decorative wild honeysuckle and reed handle.  The vessel was underglazed with images of very detailed black capped chickadees and subtle background of apple blossoms.  The buff clay and hand painted details were then clear glazed and fired to 2300 to create a piece of clay art that can be passed down through generations.  

Want a neutral vase option? Just turn this one around.  The back is natural shades of buff, grey and the natural color of the vine and reed.  This is art pottery and has drawn a great deal of attention in media.
